SpiritSand Productions offers a wide range of music performance, services, and consultation that reflect the extensive study,  experience,
and in a duo performing everything from Classics to Pop to Traditional with violinist, Dick Walker and friends.
effective, playable versions of otherwise unplayable musical selections to accomodate any group's number, instrumental makeup, and level of experience. She has recently orchestrated a contemporary cantata, wrote many arrangements for adult beginning orchestra, and special arrangements for the many ensembles she coaches. The Celebration Strings has performed requested favorites for a wedding using Cathy Learoyd arrangements. Cathy is also composing an Alma Mater for a private school in the Hill Country area.

Cathy Learoyd has performed as a

artists all over the world. He is a former member of professional symphony orchestras in California and continues his activities in classical music with violinist Cathy Learoyd in the violin duo Spiritsand,

violinist with Aspen Festival Orchestras, the Wichita Symphony, and the Springfield (MA) Symphony. Winner of the Women's Association of the St. Louis Symphony Aspen Prize, she studied with concert artist Charles Treger. Cathy plays in a quartet she founded called Celebration Strings.

Shown above are the Charter Members of an adult learning ensemble founded and directed by Cathy Learoyd. It's a fun, no-stress group called the Take A Bow Orchestra.

SpiritSand conductor is Cathy Learoyd whose conducting credits include Handel's "Messiah" and many musicals such as "The Mikado," "The King and I, "
a recital performance where the pair were given a spontaneous ovation for their spirited improvisatory rendering of a dance written by Mr. Martin.

Choir Programs for Church and Community. Cathy Learoyd is director of  Fun With Music Chorus sponsored by the Dietert Claim Senior Center of Kerrville, Texas.
"Oklahoma," "Guys and Dolls," and, in "Fiddler On the Roof," she was both Music Director and the Fiddler!
