She has recently orchestrated a contemporary cantata, wrote many arrangements for adult beginning orchestra, and special arrangements for the many ensembles she coaches. The Celebration Strings has performed requested favorites for a wedding using Cathy Learoyd arrangements. | artists all over the world. He is a former member of professional symphony orchestras in California and continues his activities in classical music with violinist Cathy Learoyd in the violin duo Spiritsand, | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

violinist with Aspen Festival Orchestras, the Wichita Symphony, and the Springfield (MA) Symphony. Winner of the Women's Association of the St. Louis Symphony Aspen Prize, she studied with concert artist Charles Treger. Cathy plays in a quartet she founded called Celebration Strings. |
